Default No RPM's

so my rpm meter isnt working on my 96 Disco. it did however flutter every once in a while very lazily and would barely get to 2k rpm's (i would be flooring when this happened). is there any fix besides replacing?

The tacho takes it's feed from the back of the alternator. I had to replace much of the wiring on mine as it had fallen apart.

Might be worth a check.

Often, but not always, a sign that the alternator is on it's way out. Check wiring connected to the alternator first. It may just need to be clean up and reconnected!
