Heres what I got: 1998 Discovery, bone stock, 192000 miles.
Here are my symtpoms: My tach doesn't work (or I should say doesn't work right). When I start it up, the tach moves about 1/4 of an inch above the "0" and stops. If you look real close, it seems to be vibrating or moving a little. This is what I've done: Installed a new battery, alternator and I put a new connector on the bottom wire to the alternator. I think I read somewhere on this forum that the bottom wire or the black and white wire can effect the tach if there is a bad connection. However, it is still not working? ![]() |
