Have 1998 Discovery Tdi, front brakes 'click' or rattle when moving, have replaced rattle springs and pins but noise continues. Guessing it is brakes as noise disappears when brake is applied, any ideas?

You can try taking them out and applying some copper grease to the carrier where the pad sits, that sometimes helps. Failing that it is new pads and if you can get LR originals as they fit better!
