Default OBD Connector

Where is the OBD connector located? Is there a OBD II on the 95 disco?

You have an OBD1 display under the r/f passanger seat that will display any codes, no plug in like on a OBD2.

The '95 Disco didn't have an OBDII system, it had OBDI. Aside from getting a computer interface kit like what the dealers have, your only real option is to just read the codes from the attached diagnostic display.

I thought the read out under the front passenger seat was for the transmission modual only. This incorrect? It will give out all fault codes for the D1?

Thanks for the advise on the manual. I do have a question about that. I have a subscription to alldatadiy, that is an online repair manual. It has just about everything fromdiognostics to technicail bulletin releases from LR. It cost me 30.00 a year for the subscription.

Have any of you used it and if so, would is it any better than this manual?

On a follow up to the original question, I went out and found the connector as well as the diognostic display. The following codes were shown:

34 Injector rich/lean
19 Throttle potentiometer high/airflow meter
45 OS Right bank

Based on these codes are there any ideas of were to start or should I just troubleshhot each individually?

I attached a schematic that is in this alldata thing as an example of what is in it.

Thanks

Anthony

Alldata is Excellent, I think. I use them all the time.... The Rover coverage is very good. I like a manual because its in your hands and easy to read in the shop. Alldata is very good though.

What tests have you done already. I woudl see the 45 and 34 beign related.

Sorry for the delayed response, I took some time and studied the tests for the codes I was getting.

One thing I would like to know that I cannot seem to find is, does anyone have any info on testing the TPS? I seem to have info on all the other tests I need to do but, it seems like this should be thing I test before I move foreward with the other tests
