Pole: Do All Of The Transfer Case Shifters Vibrate?? - Land Rovers Only

I was wondering if everyones' transfer shifter vibrated all of the time- or is that supposed to be normal.

depends on what you call vibrate. I would say mine does not vibrate but it really depends on how sensitive you are and what you consider vibrate. Someone more picky might say it vibrates but no more than any other part of my Rover.

There is a updated shifter kit to address excessive vibration. Rover started using them at the factory in 97.

I'll get the part numbers for you tomorrow.

Thank you! I would actually say it was more like a very fast buzzing but it doesn't make any noise at all- my regular gear shifter doesn't do it but the other one does buzz very fast- I've been asked about it from a few people and thought I would see if anyone else's does too.
