Hello all, I am trying to decide what I want to do. If I trim the entire rear panel, underneath the molding, then none of the ready-made bumper companies will work. Therefore I was just going to build my own! So give me some ideas won't ya!
![]() ![]() I like the way this is, but it needs a little more triming, my 32's would still rub b/c of the offset. Got 15" steelies!

I've noticed that the bumpers that angle up to the rear bumper tend to last longer and help slide off rocks because they take impacts at an angle versus the perependicular hit a parallel to the ground bumper tends to make. I've seen some wrinkled sheet metal from this design. Of course if you don't plan on using your bumpers as transitional aids.... nevermind! hahaha
FYI

Todd,
My bumper doesn't angle up, maybe the picture looks that way but it is perpendicular, has taken a number of hits and hasn't moved. If you are at the next club meeting, come take a look. Mike |

I do like the looks of yours though! I hope to be at the meeting! Maybe with my flares and 35's installed!
