Unhappy Prestone stop leak in a 94 disco

Hello Guys
anybody used prestone stop leak in there disco with success ,the truck is not over heating and the prestone is not going in the oil ,do i consider a supper flush and a stop leak from Prestone ,is it a good idea ?
the car mechanic said it is a job of 1000/1500$ to redo the gaskets and may be resurfacing the heads .plus he said that the radiator is also leaking from the bottom corner another 800$.

Thanks

Yea, that stuff is only a temp fix to get to the repair shop. It is bad cus it just floates around inside waiting to gunk up something it shouldn't, like water pump props etc..

Ha didn't read far enough, there is no long term quick fix to your issue (head gaskets)... Also get a used radiator and save $$

check to see where you leak is on your radiator. It it is on the end cap you can just solder it with silver solder.

Never use any stop leak in your truck, it can plug up your heater or radiator easily. If you have a leak, have it fixed.

Default Made in China

There is a Silla radaitor for a Disco 1 and 2 for less than $200.00

It's an aluminum 3 row.

It's MADE IN CHINA.

I've asked people on this forum about these several times but have yet to receive an answer.

i would rather keep the original than going with some Chinese aluminum radiator i will take it out and send it to a shop for overhauling .
