problem with 95 d1 - Land Rovers Only

i went for a drive yesterday when i went to start it the engine was turning over but it didn't start.after a few attempts it started.when i drove off it was hesitating till it got to a higher speed it was find.when i stop at the lights it was very slugish again.

what could the problem be and what should i check for.

How old is your fuel pump, when did you last change your fuel filter?

Check the plug on the MAF sensor. Mine comes unplugged on 97 sometimes and causes stuttering on acceleration.
