Default Q's for DI owners---used purchase

Hey buds: I need to call upon your expertise for some advice on a DI purchase. Not mine,,,but someone I work with here in Denver. He's looking at a '95 DI w/ @120k. I took a quick swing over & the body & interior look pretty good. Billstein shocks. Looks like stock everything else. Looks like it's never been off road judging from rims, what I saw of undercarriage, etc.

I figure I've got to take it for a spin & check out:
- xfer case
- cdl
- take it thru a carwash to test sunroof leakage
- examine gaskets etc for excessive leaking
- examine door locks which are pretty much assured to work in bizarre ways
- all the usual stuff
- rust in hidden places (owner did a number with black rustoleum on factory bull bar,,,chuckle-under-breath,,,)

But anything specific I need to look for on a DI ? For example,,,front drive shaft is an issue for DIIs. Same w/ DIs? Your thoughts & suggestions appreciated. Thanks

1. Rear driveshaft - does it still have the rotoflex? Most likely it does.
2. Check under carpet in rear cargo area and driver's side (front).
3. Check C pilars (in front of rear wheel well), check inside rear wheel well.
4. Turn ignition to number 2 position and see if the Check Engine, SRS, ABS, lights work.
5. O2 sensors and cats probably need to be replaced
6. Swivel leaks

Just a few things....

Thanks! Will the O2 throw codes?
Also, what am I looking for on the C-Pillar? I assume rust? If so, is this exposed alum. or will it be under plastic on a DI ?
Thanks
