Question about engines. - Land Rovers Only

I found a 95 Disco for $1500 obo but it has a cracked block. My question is I have an 88 RRC with a 3.5 in it I know it is not the most desirable engine but would it bolt up and get me by until I could find a 3.9

yes it will work fine, any of the Rover V8's will bolt straight up, if its EFI then you may have to do some work on that, or just slap a Weber 500 carb on there.

Thanks for the input. I am waiting for him to come down some more on the price and then I may just check into a whole motor then.
