Default Radiator Part Ii

Alright the new radiator is installed... but now it seems the oil pressure lines (I was wrong they are not auto transmission lines) are leaking where the line meets the oil pan. What do I do now? New oil pressure lines? Or is this something that can't truly be fixed.

nope they can be fixed and I'd recommend you do it shortly if memory serves that can cause an engine fire....

Good advice thanks. I'm wondering if the new radiator has anything to do with it... either the radiator is working its ass off becuz its new but I dont know why the oil cooler lines would start crappin out. It only leaks where the line meets the oil pan and it has been leaking just a little before in the past but now the amount its pooin on the ground is gettin bigger.

Plus the exhaust note does not sound the way it should. It seems like my disco has an extreme cam on it. Very weird

I checked the engine light too today and found out Cylinder 1 is misfiring. This still doesn't explain the leaking oil.

The oil cooler lines are a known weak spot on the disco's and have been the culprit for more than one engine bay fire due to lack of maintenance.

The misfire on cylinder 1 could be a number of things. Have you checked to make sure you have no oil in your coolant or coolant in your oil(looks like coffee with cream) I only ask since I seem to remember something about overheating when the fan took out the radiator.

After that start with the basics to diagnose the misfire.

I think the misfire is due to a fouled plug. But it is a common problem with the cooler lines? If I replace the cooler lines it should stop that problem?
