Someone told me that on an '00 Disco there is already a rear locker in there that engages when the truck is put into 4Lo, is this right, or just some dealer guy who doesnt know jack.

I wouldn't believe a thing he says. Disco's are open diffs. and weak ones at that. The only locking device the 00 has, if you were to reattach it, would be a CDL for the t/case.
