Rear Locker on '00 Discovery

Someone told me that on an '00 Disco there is already a rear locker in there that engages when the truck is put into 4Lo, is this right, or just some dealer guy who doesnt know jack.

I wouldn't believe a thing he says. Disco's are open diffs. and weak ones at that. The only locking device the 00 has, if you were to reattach it, would be a CDL for the t/case.

Im just getting into off roading. A couple friends of mine are big on it. Both have Toyotas, so I'm planning on putting some money into the Disco. Both of my friends' toyotas have rear lockers and I remember that the lockers have gotten us un-stuck a few times, so its something I want to put in my truck.

Do you know where any info about a CDL?
