I just hope whatever you are using it's not platinum. Do a search sometime either here or on discoweb.org and you'll come across a lot of people who thought they were doing the right thing by installing expensive platinum plugs only to have issues with the way their truck idled.

thank you for the head's up. I actually asked for that platinum and the guy at the store said I didn't need them. so i didn't get those.
I am just wondering if all of this is tied to something that happened when the dealer installed the new transfer case. it was actually a used one but only a couple of days after i got it back from them, i stalled out coming around a turn slowly and then a few days after that the speedometer quick working little by little. the code for the stepper (48) came up again. I heard you have to adjust them when you put a new one in back i cannot find any information online whatsoever about that at all. i am going to put the used L.R one that should be here Monday and see if that corrects anything. If it doesn't - I'll just have to put her in the garage for awhile until I can get this sorted out.! |
