If you already have the brush guard, keep it. If you don't have it yet, don't bother, save up for a bull bumper. OEM brush guards aren't good for much more than mounting lights and destroying your radiator in a collision.

The truck looks clean without the letters and if you are going to do alot of wheeling the brush bar is a waist of money, install a good front bumper if you are going off road.
White looks good. Mike |

Drew, im not sure how you avoided it, but that happens to many people, the brush bars get pushed up and they smash the front of the hood. though this one isnt exactly from a 'brush bar', here is what happens.....sometimes its worse: ![]() |

If you've already got it, keep it on until you upgrade your bumper. I don't know about real collisions, but mine has proven itself in the parking lot. A girl in a new beetle backed straight into me, hard. Thrashed her bumper cover and deck lid, didn't even dent my oem brush guard

Dude, instead of putting the lettering on how it's supposed to be, do something different. I know a guy who has an orange colored rangie and his says "ORANGE ROVER". You could do something like "BEND OVER" or something that identifies you or the name of your truck.
