So...yeah drive to my grandmas today for christmas.. when i went out to start the rover.. no start... it just turns over... so after everything was done i started to mess with it....
checked the wires all connected, no sparking on the wires then i checked the fuel pressure on the rail and nothing came out....so does that mean my pump is dead? or is there a fuse or relay? can my filter be cloged ??? |

Alright i wasnted able to find out which relay was the fuel pump.. so does anyone know which one would be the fuel pump??
there is two yellow one green and one brown ??? MY guess is the brown?? Also we checked with a test light and there is no power the the fuel pump... so it has to be a relay ?? no? the Fuse was good |

I recently had the same problem. I towed my newly owned 95 RRC to a reputable mechanic in my area. He said it was the alternator. 800 bucks later, and a day later i got it back, and the next day..same problem...
It turned out to be a wiring connection at the fuel pump, under the rear floor. Simple fix using pliers to close the contacts tighter. Hope thats what it is! |
