CatRover Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Posts: 1 Gallery: 0	RPM gauge not working. My RPM gauge recently stopped working while I was at Silver Lake. Hit a pretty big bump, and that was the end of the gauge. I took the cluster apart and seen no loose wires or anything, all the other gauges are working fine. Could the gauge be "bad"? What else should I look for? 1998 Discovery LE.

osiristheclown Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Posts: 43 Gallery: 0	Check the small wire on the back of the alternator, that is your tach feed to the cluster.
