I dont know whats up with yours, but mine has no problem doing 80+.

I have to watch it on I40 here because the speed limit is 70 and its easy to go way over.

But then again mine is still stock too.

Reelaaax.

Tow a trailor, then you'll see what i mean.

The speedos on these things are off 5-10 MPH at those speeds anyway. It seems to me when i am driving ~80, its more like 73-74 mph

I don't know of any cheaper way than to add a turbo to get more HP out of it.

I can do it for for less than 2k easily. And get 30% more hp/torque. ~20 dollars per HP.

FWIW i've never had a speeding ticket, so if you think i'm reckless that should quiet you up some

Is there a max speed in 4 low?

Yes.

I'm not a necessarily slow driver either. My 300 hp 4.6 heart transplanted 1992 RR1 does just fine up and down I-70 from 5280 ft to 10,00ft above sea level with cats on!

Just be careful who reads about your business.
