Default steering noise

hi all i have a 02 disco II when i back up and turn my wheels there is a
loud rubbing sound . any ideas thank you...

Turn the steering wheel to the complete right or left and with the vehicle off and in park, then thoroughly examine both wheel wells for any sort of improper tire clearance.

Should that not solve the issue put it up on a lift with the engine on and the tires turning.
