Default Suspension lift

I was looking at raising my 97 disco about 50mm. However I have been told that if you raise it more than about 40mm stock, it makes them spit pinion seals, particularly on the rear.
Can anyone confirm this?
What sort of lift are you running? And have you had any probs?
I would like to go about 50mm of lift, and put 32in tires and flares.

From all I have heard, if you go over 3"s the biggest problems are to both drive shafts, not the seals. The shafts, especially the front one, is so short and you get too much pinion angle causing vibration and u-joint failures. Most change out the drive shafts and go to a double cardon sytle and some also go to konger radius arms to correct the alignment. You might consider going to the Disco Web site and reading up on this in their tech section.
Hope this helps,
Mike J.

Where are you located?
If you are in the states you might want to check with John Lee at Expedition Exchange.

Here is my favorite site, look in under OME.
You should be able to find a good scourse down under for a good lift.
