RTE brake lines are made by Paragon Performance. They may not the "cats ass", but they are proven and tough. Yet, EE makes a really nice brake line and, IMO, they are worth the extra coin in the long run. They were not available when I got my RTE's, but I'm not disappointed. Maybe I like them because I drive a Land Rover, and not a F1/Indy bull shit. It's a brake line; DOT set's it's standards, everyone follows. I'm sure DAP's brake lines are good, but they are no different than RTE's.
Thanks for the information. I have dealt with Will before and he is a great guy and very honest IMO. I will give him a call when I get closer to the install. I am still recovering from my knee surgery and getting in the Disco now can be a royal pain right now.

I'm sure will would grab a nice flange for you- they can get banged up and stuff, but Will's a good guy and will look out for ya. I prefer a new one, personally.
Saying Goodridge are no different from RTE is kinda crazy... they are not the same.

you drive a '98 right? I dont think you would need a new driveshaft. I think even the 97s had U-jointed shafts. but the only way to be sure is to crawl under the truck and look.

Close I drive a 97, when I get a chance to crawl under there I'll take a look at what's there

My 97 had a u-joint. But, I don't think all of them did.....

I think its the same reason not all 01 D2s have CDL bolts.
