Default Throttle Position Sensor and idle?

Is there any reason putting a new throttle position sensor in a 97 Disco I would result in the idle jumping from 720 rpms to 1500 at idle? The old one idled correctly, but the engine was running a little rough, so I decided to start witht he throttle position sensor. The result is it seems to be running about the same, but the idle has jumped to 1500 rpm. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hey Wadw,
That truck of yours giving you fits still?
Have you talked to Frank or Tony lately, they may be the ones to ask.

Default Frank or Tony

Thanks Mike. If we could talk them into opening a shop in Austin, I'd go see them. I may take it to Motorcars, Ltd. there shortly. I can't seem to find the problem.
