Default Very low breaks

Last week wife came back a little pale, she says that she lost the breaks the peddle went all way down. She made it back to the house. The fluid was very low but no signs of leakage. We took the 1996 Disco to the local shop here they changed the front break pads and bled the fluid, breaks still low but better and no sign of a leak. any advice out there? Thank you.

When you say the brakes are still low, do you mean low pedal or low stopping power?

So if the pedal is low and possibly goes to the flow when braking, then you either have air trapped in the system or your master cylinder is failing.

If it is the master cylinder, it is dangerous, you could loose your brakes completely.
I would look at bleeding the brakes one more time before you replace the master cylinder just to illiminate all other possibilitys.
