Default Weekend work

so while the truck is sitting in the garage dead, i figured id do some more work on it. bought some cup holders cause the tiny pull out ones dont work for anything but cherry coke cans. also decided to install some lights on the roof. goin for the cheap do it yourself option here which means i could get some slack as some self made snorkel people get but well see. i dont have a roof rack so i decided to mount them on the luggage rack bars or whatever they might be called. used 4 cheap 55 watt driving lights, they are up there but all the wiring isnt done yet. heres the pics, give your opinions. id love to have the real things but if i was gunna spend that money id put it a lot of other places first since my truck is still totally stock.

cup holders!

and the lights

x2 on the Cup Holders...I visit BK and Checkers(Sonics in other places) alot and I always had to place their huge cups between my legs, and when I get off, it looks like I've pissed on myself.

Thats one thing I've wonder is how in $40K vehicle is there no cup holders, I mean the new RR have chilled cup holders but my classic is deviod of any. I guess back then the Brits just got all their drinkin done at the pub before drivin rather than takin one for the road

Well, first you have to straddle the rail.
Mark your spot
eas up close and tap it just a little to get the screw started
then just drill it! That's it.

ive been wanting those cup holders for a while now, they were really easy to put in, just two screws for each one and one of the screws(the side one) needs a little bracket to have something good to hold onto.

Geez, what's with you guys and cup holder holders? I've never, ever, found a reason to use mine.
