I am going to let Elemental reply to your questions but wanted to make one suggestion. Order 8 mm Magnacor wires instead of the Bosch, they sem to do really well on Rovers.

I agree with Mike on that. Bosch wires often bought at the Zone are shit. Not as bad as the red zone house brand, but close.

Magnacore all the way.

For your overheating issues, might be your viscous coupling is worn out on the fan.

First, the p0125 is Either your Thermostat...Or, there is a Updated PROM to address this concern. Turns out, it is discontinued.

96 had many p0300 codes set by sticking valves. If they havent been updated with the carbon cutters then all the spark plugs in the world will not help. Somethign to keep in mind. In 96, when we had a p0300 we would install new plugs and wires and give it back to the customer explaining that we need to see it again, and give them a free Oil Change for there time. If it came back with the same code... New valves.

Hey, it was under warranty.


Does your check engine light blink at the rate of 1 blink per second when its acting up?

got champion plugs(the better ones they sell)....bosch wires are on the way...if they fail ill for over the 110$ for magnecor
