Default what resets with battery disconnect?

On a GEMS engine ('97 D1)- who knows what resets when the battery is disconnected for a relatively short period of time (30 min)? Something in the ECM, the security system, or within the adaptive parameters? Looking for specifics. Thanks.

i know it throws a p1684 code on obd2 so inspection stations know you may be trying to cheat a check engine light. this code last about 80 miles and will not cause the light to light up, thats all i really know about that

I know the stereo locks up... just went thru this myself, when I replaced my battery, the stereo went into theft mode and asked for a security code. Just bought the thing so had no paperwork, books etc so had to call Land Rover dealership nearby. They gave me the code after I proved I owned the truck. I had to reset everything cause I tried to fake a code more than twice, this entails turning the ign key to 'on' and leaving it for almost 2 hrs (LR told me 2.5 hours, but it worked after about 1 3/4) then you are allowed to enter the code. Not sure if anything else resets, everything else works in mine.

Any more thoughts on this one....fuel map, stored throttle position, IACV position, something to do with the O2's, etc.? Let's hear your thoughts.

The SRS light needs to be reset. I've heard of something called "TestBook". I guess you need that to reset it.
