Default Window noise

My 96 LR SE7 passenger window makes squeaking noises when rolling up. Should I put some oil inside it or will that make things worse?

The plastic roller on the window regulator is about to break, I would siggest you not use the window till you are ready to replace the regulator.

i don't mean to hijack the thread, but my passenger front window when it gets to the top, it seems like it slips a gear, falls a little bit, goes back up, falls...it pops each time it does this...is that the regulator going?

Thanks. Can I fix this myself or will a dealership mechanic have to do it?

Do it yourself - follow the description in the Haynes manual, it is straight forward
