Ive been looking at RoverParts.com & they sell these racks. Price is good & they can accept lights, bike mounts, whatever!
Anyone have experience with these? S.

Thats great! The price is right & they seem to have all the add-ons a guy could ask for, even light mounts...
Do the sill mounts & cross bars come with it? I like the looks of the load warrior... Now to find a local Canadian dealer.. S.

What kind of rover? Also..Ebay always has great deals... www.yakima.com has all the info you need...... as fas as locations etc..... They are really a great company to deal with also.... I had a bike skewer(piece that hold fork of bike while on the roof) break.. They sent me a new one... free....... no questions ask..... No need to send the old part... and that was 5 years after I bought that rack! Good luck man! ![]() |

Dang thats some good customer service!
Ive got a 99 series 1... Im not a fan of ebay. I watch it, but getting stuff to Canada is always a PITA. I did check the site & found a couple of hitch places that are distributers. Figure ill button up the hitch at the same time! S.

X2 on yakima, they are great racks, what fun rover isn't telling you is how much he ABUSES his, as well as his family! something about building an entire deck, and using them to haul all the materials...lol. Funrover is why i have yakima on my car, they'll hold up to whatever abuse you can throw at them!

I have bounced off a few trees with my yakima as well as hauled everythng a person can..... The basket has really helped for camping........... you buy everything seperatly. the 1A rain gutter mounts are the standard for gutter mounts. if you have a disco you'll prolly need the high rise kit. then you buy the bars, funrover will tell you the length he uses, and then you buy the basket, bike mounts, ski mounts etc. i know ebay can be a pain BUT it will save you some cash, if you're on a budget, i bought the gutter mounts off ebay for $50, i think they're like $150 new. so just FYI.
