Hi, I'm very impressed the way you did your engine built. My disco started to cause major problem after I hit water puddle and started to screw up many thing. Starting from check engine light to engine problems. Spend so much to get it fixed, injectors, spark plugs, o2 sensors, and spark wires....etc. still having issues. Trucks has 140k so I decided to rebuilt the motor. I was running into the list what you did and had some questions, but before I go on with bucket list of my question wanted to know if it's ok for me to ask? Plz take some time and let me know. Would appreciate any help you provide me. Thank you.

Good day, so i have talked to you about my disco. the one in Germany. I just talked to the shop and they have found the problem so they say. I went in and saw what they said it was with a camera. They say it is a liner and block problem. coolant is coming from the top of the liner. They say it is fixable with a new "Top Hat" sleeve and that is it. I don't believe that is it. I told them that if the block has coolant in it and it is coming out from over the top of the liner then that tells me that i have a cracked block. Now of course you would think that the heads would be off and the pressure test the block to verify, but no just a camera looking in the plug slot in the head to the block. but anyway, I am asking if there is anyway for it not to be the block and can it be fix with just the "Top Hat" sleeves?

I opted to use OEM front rotors. They're called vented because technically the core is hollow as the two friction surfaces are separated by internal ribs so technically the rotor is hollow. This is opposed to the rear rotors which are just solid lumps of steel with no hollow center, ergo "non-vented"

    Hi I'm quoting you
    " OEM-style rotors(vented front, solid rear)"
I'm doing my brakes and I'm curious_ which rotors did you used on the front and what did you mean by vented ?
    Many thanks
