    Hey Matt, Im considering getting an 08 LR3 with 20,000 miles on it. Id like to put a 2 inch lift on it, and some slightly bigger than stock tires. Is this a good move, what are the pros and cons? What would you recommend?

    Well, I am a mechanic and I do work on Rovers new and old (mine) but I am in Medicine Hat.

    The Rover Shop in Calgary is probably your best bet in Calgary. They have all the equipment to work on the newer stuff.

    Have you joined the ALRE yet? Great bunch of guy's and lots of help with repairs, parts etc.

    Matt are you a Land Rover mechanic? I have been looking for a good mechanic to handle heavier jobs with my LR3 and Volvo P1800.
