    I posted questions, but not a step by step. I would recommend a range rover restoration manual- google it- it should show up.
    This was the first engine I had ever torn down- it is pretty easy as long as you label things as they come off. Toughest was the exhaust studs.

    First give the entire engine compartment and engine a good washing with simply green. It will make working on it so much simpler.

    I have a 1994 Range Rover 4.2 LWB that I need to redo the head gaskets on. When you changed the head gaskets on your Rover, was there a thread? Did you have any suggestions before I tear into this thing?
