Americanisation of a Defender

I posted last how you could buy a 6x6 Defender if you wanted one. Even though this vehicle has been around for a while now, it reminded me when I saw it today. The Australian Army has spent too much time with your soldiers as this would have to be something that you guys would do to one.

Don't blame that on us that is the last thing we would do with a 6x6 110 if we got our hands on it

I suppose so, the wheels you guys would definitely do, but you would put a 10 inch spring lift in it.

Can't get 10" springs so we would do a 5" spring lift 2" coil spacers and a 3" body lift get it right

Only the Yanks would have festooned the poor old land Rover 4,000# of armour, 2,000# of weaponry and a separate trailer to tow around the four tons of ammo they think they are going to need.
