LR 2 AC Drain Line

I have a 2008 LR2. I'm convinced that the AC drain line is plugged since the passenger floorboard is soaking wet and mist is coming out of the AC vents. My problem is that I can't find the drain line and boot. I've taken off the skid plate and looked under the car on both passenger and driver side, but no luck. Other posts on the forum really deal with the Disco, not the LR2 so they've not provided the info I need (I think). I also can't find reliable service manuals that show the AC system and drain line. Appreciate any advice and pics if able.

Merry Christmas,
Mike

Have a look at Freel2.com - View topic - water / wet footwells carpets either passenger / driver side
Don't forget that this car is in the UK and therefore right hand drive.

AC plug and filter

Thanks for the link to the Brit freelander page. That advice worked out. For US models pop the panel off the passenger side gear box/center console then gently pull the carpet back. There is a white rubber hose that connects to a plastic L-tube that goes through the floorboard. I had some gunk in the L-tube, but the AC filter (which is in a plastic box just forward of this section) was filthy. I hadn't changed it since moving to Madagascar one year ago. I blew this out with a compressor and reinstalled (ordering a new one now). The AC blows cold now, and the water drains out the bottom of the vehicle right around the right side of the transmission (you have to remove fire guards/brush guards to get a good look).

2008 LR2 AC condenser line

Thanks for the insight. I have a 2008 LR2. Removed the plastic panel on the passenger side. Found the hose. Removed the hose at the fitting attached to the trans tunnel. Put a coffee can under the hose to catch the water inside the condensor. Then took my air compressor and blew out the fitting.
After starting the car, water was flowing from underneath. It's difficult to ascertain where the fitting is while your under neath the vehicle, in as much it passes thru the heat shield and is well hidden. Your post helped immensely.
