Front Dig ?

I tried searching but came up wanting. I'm wondering what the consensus would be on trying a front dig in a DII. My thoughts are that if the centre diff was open, engage parking brake, somehow disable the traction control momentarily you could send power to front wheels only and execute the "front dig". Thoughts?

2004 Disco II. 4.6L auto. TF steering links and damper, DI wiper arms. Upgrading more as parts need replacing and money/time permit.
