New Land Rover Defender

Seeing all these promo news today about the 2020 Land Rover Defender ..

It's certainly better than what I thought they were gonna do. But it doesn't look boxy enough. Body Molds are cookie cutter. It doesn't look anything like the Defender series. That "futuristic" snorkel looks pretty lame and doesn't catch enough air.. this thing looks like a Toyota got a Defender pregnant or something .. it's just not Defender enough ..

I don't know who is in charge of designing the new Land Rovers but besides the largest most expensive Range Rovers they offer .. .. these newer vehicles have no Land Rover "essence" .. no character or originality anymore...

They want almost 100k for this when this is a 40k car. 50k at most.

A lot of us do not like the new, squished down look of the LR and RR. Just does not look like a real vehicle designed to go off road. Looks more like it fits on Rodeo Drive.

That said it also looks like the company is doing pretty well selling them.

So I may be just too old fashioned.
