instrument panel repair options?

hello,

has anybody found a vendor in the USA who's capable of repairing an LR gauge cluster?

i'm not talking about the millions of places who will replace burnt out LCD strips or bad LEDs, but somebody who can fix the ECU problems like "lost comm" and "invalid data" errors?

Turner Diagnostics in the UK can, but they are such a bunch of jerks and contributed to screwing me over with their laziness and disinterest in helping.

cheers

If you are needing help with the gauge cluster then you must mean the BCU.
What exactly are the problems that you are having?
What diagnostic tool are you using?
Getting any fault codes?

the instrument panel (gauge cluster) is a relatively common failure on lr3/rrs

the car goes into "crash mode" and all electrics power off and hazard lights flash. car drives fine in this mode, but won't start. unknown events kick the car in/out of "crash mode."

i have scan with both nanocom and foxwell, i get the same errors:

IPC: mscan bus errors
all ECU on mscan bus: lost comm with IPC

on a positive note, after exchanging a few PM with alexbbs at genesis, i should be able to sync a used cluster with the nanocom. i'll have my used cluster in a couple of days, but it's anybody's guess when i'll get my original cluster back from international limbo... and i can't attempt the IPC swap without both units on hand.
