Exclamation screeching noise when going low speeds

Hey guys,

I've been having an issue that only started occurring about two days ago. Whenever I start to accelerate/decelerate my 2013 Range Rover Evoque (137,000 miles) makes a screeching noise almost as if i'm using bad brakes, sort of sounds like a tornado siren going off. Whenever the issue occurs i experience no other symptoms such as vibration or rattling. Originally i thought it was coming from my back passenger side wheel, so this morning i took the wheel off and found a small pebble located in the dust shield and removed it, and thought the problem was fixed. As soon as i pulled my vehicle out of the driveway to check if all was good it started making the same tornado siren sound again, this time it almost sounded as if it was coming from the front. would anybody happen to know what this issue could be? I would love any input.

Oh also, please note that this only happens while moving. If i'm in park, and I press the gas, i get absolutely no problematic noises

My first inclination is the power steering pump. These will often show those symptoms on acceleration under load and not just giving it gas. See if the pitch changes and sound when you turn the steering wheel. That’s one telltale sign although it could still be the pump regardless.
