Land Rover mechanics in the SB/Ventura/LA county area?

I have a coolant leak in my 2001 Disco II with just over 130K miles...I've been using Pentafrost SF coolant the last couple years but I refilling it almost weekly at this point...last time I had it in for some service I was told it was a leaky head gasket towards the passenger side...looking for some advise, possibly garage suggestions in the Ventura/Santa Barbara/Los Angeles county area if anyone has some favorites and what I should be expecting as far as prices I would be eternally grateful!

here's a bit of history on my coolant woes: previously had to replace the throttle body pre-heater due to leakage, then I had the radiator replaced due to a leak, and lastly the intake manifold gasket replaced.

Would love to drive my rover again without having to check coolant every few days!

thanks!

You have tons of options for Land Rover mechanics in SoCal. However it's important to get a feel for the shop you're visiting and check the online reviews.

I avoid shops with a "cheap labor" feeling. Sort of like if you put a land rover sign on a Jiffy Lube. Lots of places in LA like this advertising themselves as Land Rover Jaguar but they just want the higher labor rate.

It's really difficult to find someone. I had private mobile mechanic type guy years ago named "English Dave" years ago and his work was absolutely spectacular for a fair price. Not cheap. Not Expensive. Fair. Amazing work. He fixed tons of stuff on my Rover like 11 years ago ... and all his work has held up perfectly (knock on wood). I think he retired now.

You just need to go around and try your best to get a feel for who is who. PM me and I can tell you who to avoid.
