Fan noise winding non stop

I have an '06 RR HSE thats treated me kindly. However, no sooner was I appreciating what a great truck this and how well its done for me, I get a fan noise running non stop like a jet taking off.
I imagine its the fan clutch and soon as it stops snowing I'll check to see if it moves freely.

My question is assuming the fan clutch is bad:

A) What part(s) should replace it? Genuine LR? Aftermarket?
B) How difficult a DIY is it and if any special tools are required?
C) What can I expect the bill if I take it to local shop?

Happy travels!

You’ll need a fan clutch wrench 32mm I believe and a pulley holder to break the clutch loose. Reverse of normal. You will need to pull the auxiliary serpentine belt, the upper fan shroud and electrical connection. Put a bit of anti-seize on the threads when you reassemble.

Aftermarket is fine for the part
