Yeah my battery is fresh so I'm going to continue to ignore the light.

My FOB is messed up the sider joints on the battery connections are bad so I'm guessing that is my issue. I raised the FOB from the dead by doing some re-soldering will see how long it lasts.

I have 2006 LR3. That's is normal, Red Light flashes at interval when engine is off as anti theft system is waiting to be activated. See page 27 of Land Rover Owner's Manual.
