Fluids

I've read alot of threads saying to use same fluid for tranny and transfer case because of the chain, anyone got an answer?

Better use what the builder recommends rather than what forumists are thinking

I use BG gear oil on the diffs and transfer case. But the requires LR for the transmission.

I use Royal Purple Syncromax in transfer case, genuine ZF oil for gearbox, 75w/90w synthetic in both diffs and 10-40 Castrol Magnatec in the engine (V6 Petrol). If you have a e-diff then its a different oil. I dont think SAF XO is available anymore.

Castrol Syntrax, yeah it's spelled right, is the SAF XO. Amsoil tranny fluid has the Shell 1375.4 Spec.-Blue bottle.
