I'm kidding of course I take it through a car wash with the underbody wash option at least once a year whether she needs it our not (this one is serious....)

Clean it however you want but never use Oven Cleaner. If you get it on any aluminum it will destroy it.

Hot water pressure washer or steamer will clean it, did it to my D90 when it was stained really bad. As for the orange tailpipe a steel brush should clean it.
