An old cotton undershirt, nice and soft - I found if you dab the ScratchX onto the scratch/flaw and let it sit for 20 or 30 seconds then buff it off, it works better

If the mark is small and didn't hurt the clear coat. You can use alot of hand wax and to it like 4 times. I too hand some one have a little fun. What I used was wax and about an hour it was gone. I can look online and see whats out there for ya if ya like.
