Next life for Disco ? - open vehicle

Hi, I am new to this forum.
I have a 1993 Discovery 200tdi, It is just about to turn over 300,000km. It has served us well in Australian high country and beaches of Fraser Island in Queensland.
However, its body is not going to last for long, and I am considering (as value is not worth selling it) making it into an off road open buggy like the Australian "Bush Ranger".

Has any one made or have photos of a roof off modified vehicle ?

I hope I can keep the 200tdi going on longer than the body.
PS. the chassis is very sound

Garage
I live in the UK, so Bush Buggy would not be for me!

But, i would very much think of another use for it if the body had gone or was on its way out, just to keep it going?

Have you not considered fixing the body (Slow time)??

You could cut the back off it and turn it into a Ute. A few doing that to Disco 1 and 2's
