I prefer the V8 jag engines on my LR3's, but the ford ranger V6 seems to be fine, it's a heavy truck for the V6 version.
285 65 18 with Johnson rods and some modifications. I prefer the bfg k02 in 275 65 18 or 265 65 18.

LR3 off-road questions
Hello. I am new to the Land Rover world. However, I am an avid wheeler. I used to wheel a Jeep TJ with full width axels and lockers etc. But now I have a land rover (well 2 if you count the Disco 1 that's gutted) The one I’m planning on using is a 2007 LR3 with the V6
Anyways I’ve done a little research but still have some questions.
!. What’s the largest lift/ tire combo I can get? It looks like 2” with 32’s?
2. should I replace the airbag suspension? And if I keep it can I relocate the air compressor?
3. Can I get lockers for the LR3? I’m pretty sure I can but have not confirmed that yet.
And anything I should know about off-road with the LR3. Alaska is a lot of mud and water crossings, not so much on the rock side.
