I have a 04 Disco with 130K new engine at 85K. I was doing a spring tune getting ready to hit the trails here in Colorado. I changed the plugs, the air filter, all four O2 senors and ran BD44 injector cleaner though it I also ran oil cleaner. It ran great for a couple of weeks then died, I changed the fuel pump and i'm getting 50 psi from it, I have spark at all the plugs. It will start and run at 500-800 rpm. I checked the plugs and they were super dirty (I just changed them) and the compression was low 30-60 in the cylnders I check my mechanic thinks I jumped a timing chain. I have a new oil pump that I have not put in yet because I started getting a knock every so often and a low oil light at idle. He also thinks I might have bearing issues. What do you think do I need a short block... Again? Disco Mike our you out there? I need real feed back thanks!!!!

I hope, if that is the case, that you do not attempt to start it again. How about fault code number, what are they.
