Replaced the Lucas Cav die to a leaking throttle spindle that leaked when warm enough to lose power. New pump new lift pump new timing belt. Installed pump using lock tool on housing. Bled by hand with solenoid open from return union top bleeder 8mm and both side bolts but can't get enough pressure to pop injectors open and still foamy a bit on one and 3...yes filter was Bled first. Ive put a charger.on it and cranked with injector unions cracked or just one at a time repeadedly. Pull started and nothing...its been tried numerous times over and over for the last 2 months! I think i still have air somewhere in the pump that wont purge. This is brand new pump not rebuilt.

Everything that I've read says these can be horrendous to bleed...not like the series trucks or later tdi trucks...
