Greetings,

Ive suddenly developed a decelerating vibration in my T-case. Have checked and replaced everything from wheel bearings to u joints, finally put up on lifts and run about 2000rpm the tcase vibrating and rattling good when I put my hand on it...........anyone have an idea what may be happening. The fluids are the correct weight oil and quantity!

Any suggestions are always appreciated!

First, I haven't even crawled under my Rover yet, so I speak from pure speculation.

Are your motor/transmisison/t-case mounts in good condition? I once had a Pontiac with worn mounts that rattled like a barn door in a tornado until I got it fixed.

maybe worn shims or bearings in the transfer case. The only way to find out is to remove the inspection plates and have a look.

Yes checked motor mounts seemed fine and not worn.........didnt know there was an inspections plate so will find and remove tomorrow, and hope for just a bad bearing!!
