greetings all, I just purchased a 1996 discovery. it runs great and is in amazing shape, but it has electrical problems. neither sunroof will open, the power seats will not move, the fog lights work on occasion, and the wipers only work on the intermittent setting. in addition, the abs light and airbag light are on. I bought it knowing it had these issues, and am hoping I can resolve them. can someone point me in the direction of getting these resolved? any help is appreciated. thanks

Grounds, Grounds, Grounds.....then check the fuse panel inside. Make sure the tongs that hold the fuses haven't been spread. (It can happen easily by inserting power taps in with the fuse blades. Don't ask me how i know;) )
The reason this makes a difference is because there is a multifunction control box attached to the back of the interior fuse panel that controls interior lights, defrost, wipers, and a ton of other crap. If the fuses don't contact a couple tongs, the thing will go haywire. I don't know why. Blame it on Lucas.
There is a test procedure for it that you can perform before you rip everything out.
