Hey there,

I am new to the forum and will be joining the club today if all goes well with looking at the 99' today.

My question that I have is that are the interior pieces such as dash, console, gauges, seats from a 03' Discovery able to be installed into to the 99' Discovery 2? I do like that slightly updated interior of the 03' and there is a local fellow parting out his very nice and clean 03'.

The pieces will fit without issue.... because they're basically the same. You prefer the black color contrast? There's not much difference otherwise. Don't try to swap the gauge cluster unless you have access to the equipment to sync it with the BCU, or you'll be living with a flashing odometer.

You'll also lose some of the movement on the passenger power seat if you swap it for the one in your '99. Rover only provided forward and back for the seat base on the passenger side. There's no front or rear tilt. Not a really big deal but one way Rover went cheap on the '03 and '04 models.
