Hi, new to this site..Looks like the the enjector port hole (nearest the cylinder) has collapsed. Any suggestions other than scrap the engine would be much appreciated. Also, do I have to remove the engine to take the head off. Its the one nearest the bulk head... Not much luck today!! Attached photo

Hi and welcome to the forum
Not sure what exactly is in the picture you attached but it looks like a stripped spark hole thread
Also year, model and engine will help get you proper advice

Morning, RR 1989 2.4 Diesel Turbo. Photo in previous post shows damaged injector port.

You can't just do one head all have to come off as each head shares hold down bolts, I am guessing Italy would be the best place to buy parts as they made them. Try and find a five cylinder engine to fit. Good luck in your quest.

Thanks for reply.. All heads off and got a replacement in Holland. Just wondering what is the difference between A1and A2 heads? Artached picture of heads lined up in sequence.
